Single occupancy of double room is charged at £45 per person, per night.

The Channel is open all year round (with the exception of Christmas). Rates for Weymouth's famous New Years Eve Costumed Celebrations are available upon request.

Terms and Conditions

Deposits, Cancellation and Curtailment
A non refundable deposit of £35 per person is required to confirm weekly bookings. Bookings made by telephone, fax or email require a deposit within one week of the booking in order to secure the reservation. Please make your cheque payable to "The Channel" . Cancellation charges equivalent to two-thirds of the cost of the booking will become due should a guest cancel or curtail a booking and The Channel is unable to re-let the accommodation.

Holiday insurance cover is highly recommended.

Cancellation and Curtailment - Bookings confirmed with credit/charge card details
In the event of cancellation, curtailment or non-arrival of a booking which has been secured a charge equivalent to the first nights accommodation will become due. Further cancellation charges equivalent to two-thirds of the cost of the total booking may also become due should The Channel be unable to re-let the accommodation. In the event of us being able to re-let the accommodation, your liability will be reduced by said amount less an administration fee.

Settlement of Accounts
Please settle your account on arrival, by credit/debit card, travellers cheque (in sterling), or by cash.

Arrival & Departure

Check-in is available from 2pm to 6pm. Please contact us if you expect to arrive outside of these hours. For arrivals before 2pm, we are able to offer to store luggage, this will be at the owners risk.

Car Parking

The Channel holds a limited number of car parking permits, available on a first come first served basis. A number of them allow parking on streets around The Channel, and some are for a local car park just a few minutes walk away from the premises. Using the car park permits you will save the normal summer parking fee of £6 per 24 hours and your ticket will enable you to park free of charge at a number of other car parks at tourist spots around the area including Lodmoor country Park, the Nothe Fort and Chesil Beach.

A charge of £20 will be made for a replacement should the permit not be returned by 11:00am on day of departure.

The Channel is unable to accept any liability for your vehicle or its contents.

Valuables

Please do not leave valuables unattended anywhere within The Channel, we have no facilities for securing such items and you remain responsible for them at all times.

Damage

In the event of a guest causing damage to any property of The Channel, howsoever caused, we reserve the right to charge to replace, to repair or professionally clean. There will be a £15 charge for lost keys.

Smoking

For the comfort of all our guests and to comply with the law, The Channel is a completely non-smoking establishment.

If we discover anyone smoking or evidence of smoking then the guest will be asked to leave without refund and a charge of £50 will be made to facilitate the professional cleaning of that room.

Children

The safety and behaviour of children remains the responsibility of the parents and/or guardian at all times. Well behaved children are always very welcome.

Pets

Assistance dogs are always welcome at The Channel, however we are unable to accept pets.

Complaints

At The Channel every precaution is taken to provide for the security and comfort of our guests, however guests are responsible for their own person and property. Any loss, damage, theft or accident should be reported as soon as possible.

For any other issues affecting the enjoyment of your stay please inform the owners as soon as possible and certainly before you leave, to enable us to make all reasonable efforts to remedy the situation.

Change of tariffs and/or terms and conditions

The Channel reserves the right to change tariffs and/or terms and conditions without notice.
